Traditionally media started with communication and transmitting information from one place to the other. But entertainment always played a major role. Storytelling played a bigger role which was since ancient times depicted through rock paintings, performing arts, music, dance, dramas and later as technology gave wings to the imagination of people, through cinema, radio and television. Human beings always have had a prolific imagination which they transcreated into visual stories through a variety of mediums.
