Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All The Way…Oh What it is to have a One Horse Open Sleigh!

Although in the foggy or rather smoggy Delhi weather, there is no Horse & no Sleigh…still the students of ISOMES jingled away away to their winter vacation with a fun filled Christmas Party organised by the institute.

Christmas in India is not just about the ‘Turkey’ or ‘Thanksgiving’ or not even Baby Christ in Cradle with Carol Singing, but definitely a joyous time to hearken the holidays, to dance & have fun and frolic with friends, decorate Christmas tree and eat some cake and ‘samosas’, the quintessential party snack in India. One of the stories associated with Christmas is the ‘Gift of Magi’ where the three wise men brought gifts for Jesus when he was born. This story in today’s times has a very symbolic meaning, where youngsters can not only understand the deeper meaning of bearing gifts for loved ones, to wallow in the warmth of friends & family, and welcome all new things with positivity & hope, but to also learn to accept the goodness in the world, and imbibe from it.

ISOMES is a place where friendship, positivity, brotherhood & tolerance are encouraged and all festivals are celebrated with equanimity. Students play group games, dance, and be merry!
