Breaking away from daily classes and academic curriculum the students and the faculty members of ISOMES found the perfect place to unwind themselves. In the chilly month of December what could be better than the misty hills of Nainital and the lush greens of Jim Corbett National Park. The fun filled & educational trip started from 20th & lasted till the boxing day i.e. December 24th, 2013.
60 students and four faculty members set off from NOIDA in the night of 20h December and the first stop was at the picturesque Bheemtal.
The scenic beauty of Bheemtal was enough to keep the students spellbound. It is not just possible that you are surrounded by water & you don’t go for a boat ride. It was the picture perfect start for the trip.
The students did not leave a single chance to feel the nip in the fresh air around Bheemtal that is Naukuchia Taal and Saat Taal.
After soaking in the beauty of nature it was time to unwind by shopping at the Mall road in Nainital.
Now it was time to get close to the wilderness…so the next destination was Jim Corbett National park. It was on 22nd of December when all roads for the students led to Jungle.
The day was well spent in the lap of nature with bonfire to keep the warmth intact.
23rd of December was the day for jungle safari, where the students were waiting with baited breath to get a close encounter with the wild animals. Some had a close encounter with the animals but some missed the jungle beauties by a whisker.
After getting to know the greens & exploring the habitat it was time for everybody to unwind themselves with bonfire, music and dance.
Alas! All good things must come to an end. It was a magical & whirlwind tour for all. Nobody wanted to get back to the regular mundane life.
Finally the tour came to an end on the 24th of December, when everyone returned to Delhi with nostalgic memories of Nainital.
