Ms Shailja Naqvi is a media professional with 26 years of experience in Journalism, Radio and Television production. This is her second inning with BAG Network as she was associated as National Programming Head – Dhamaal 24 – 106.4 (Network 24 ) for 10 Radio stations from 2006 to 2008. Prior to joining ISOMES as Academic Head, she has been associated with Manav Rachna International University. She has worked in senior positions of various reputed organization like Hindustan Thompson Associates, Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd, Bhaskar Group, Independent Media Pvt. Ltd i.e. India TV, Broadcast Worldwide, TARA Punjabi Channel, Network 24, BAG FILMS & MEDIA LTD and Vedhi Pictures.She is Content specialist with experience in premium projects in Television, INDIA TV, Network 24, Broadcast World Wide,

Digital news project like Niticentral and FM Radio channels, My FM 94.3 & Radio Dhamaal 106.4 FM. She has Launched 15 Radio Stations successfully across 7 states in India. Her responsibility included the entire content creation and competitive analyses to drive niche-programming content. She has executed innovative brand strategies to enhance and ensure that the Frequency develops into number 1 Youth Referral Radio. Spearheaded brand management & marketing projects for the radio station network. Overall responsibility for listener ship numbers, revenue growth and brand leadership.

At NITI CENTRAL, she was the Editorial Operations Director (niticentral.com). From August 2012 till May 2014, Niti Central played a critical role in shaping the political narrative in the country in run up to the 2014 Lok Sabha election.

Apart from this, she has comprehensive knowledge of television programming as she was associated as Executive Producer at India TV from 1993-2006. Her TV experience includes Comprehensive Technical and Procedural Knowledge in Planning Project Lay Outs, Budgeting & Multi-Cam Studio Direction.

Ms Naqvi is an alumna of AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. Her repertoire includes the entire spectrum of political and entertainment programming that includes Corporate Films, Commercial Films, Travel and Food Shows, Documentaries and Ad Films.
