International School of Media and Entertainment Studies (ISOMES) organized a special lecture to celebrate National Youth Day on January 12, 2021 to honor the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest leaders and believers of youth power.
Speaking on the Youth & Entrepreneurship, Shri Siddhivinayak, Founder, Village Vigilantes – a record label and parallel art collective initiative for at-risk youth, addressed the aspiring journalists on the how the youngsters can channelize their energies to build a great nation. He extensively spoke on the issues faced by the youngsters, including education, peer pressure, narcotics, and generation gaps. He also addressed another important issue of casteism and social demography and how our youths can overcome these challenges.
The budding journalists were enthralled to hear him and were able to relate with the issues that are grappling our society presently.
Shri Siddhivinayak is working on his upcoming album Punarjagriti EP. The album aims to uplift the consciousness for the betterment of our nation through music and other art forms.

The second session welcomed its chief guest whose voice by now has been used by all of us several times whenever we were dialing someone’s number, as she is the voice of the caller tune about the measures to be adopted in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic in our day-to-day lives– Ms. Jasleen Bhalla. Since March, all telecom companies have replaced their ringtones with default caller tunes that spread awareness about the virus. She has been a sports journalist and a voice-over artiste for about 10 years now and feels that it is very fortunate for her to receive such fame and still considers herself as a learner. The session with her was quite educating and entertaining as well as a learning experience for the students as she shared her experiences with the students. She even performed her Corona caller tune on demand. She was thrilled to answer their questions regarding the language skills and diction. At the end, she told students to put their heart in everything they do but ensure not to hurt anyone.
