On account of B.A.G Films' network and relationships with the leading media players and television channels, ISOMES offers excellent placement opportunities to it's students. ISOMES' students from Broadcast Journalism, Television Production & Direction, and, Media Management as well as short term courses have been interviewed by leading channels such as NDTV, STAR News, Headlines Today, Aajtak, CNN IBN, IBN 7,Zee News, Zee T.V, Zee Business, NewsX, Miditech, Synergy Adlabs, Moving Pictures, among others, and have found excellent placement opportunities.

The Courses offered at ISOMES have a strong professional bias and open up a host of employment/placement avenues for successful students. The institute actively facilitates placement of students completing the Post Graduate Diploma programmes, in the array of jobs indicated below.

P.G. Diploma in Broadcast Journalism:Reporter, News & Show Anchor in news channels, Interview/Chat Show/Talk Show Host, Programming/Production Executive in news channels, Producer/Executive Producer, News Editor, Documentary Film-maker, Media Portal Executive, etc.

P.G. Diploma in T.V. Production & Direction:Director/Assistant Director, Producer/Executive Producer, Programming/Production Executive, Programme Manager, Documentary Film-maker, Channel Executive, Creative Director, Creative Coordinator, Script/Screenplay Writer, Concept Writer/Developer etc. (Could branch out into film, music, event management industry as well.)

(Note: Those opting to do short-term programmes in the above disciplines will, subject to varying lengths of internship/apprenticeship, qualify for the same kind of jobs, too).

P.G. Diploma in Media Management:Marketing/Research Executive in T.V. Channels/ Production Houses/ DTH or Cable T.V. Houses, Marketing Executive in Media Agencies or Organisations in media-related research [e.g. Television Audience Measurement (TAM), Centre for Media Research (CMS)], T.V. Production Manager/ Executive Producer, Channel Manager, Business Development Executive, Media Portal Marketing/Research Executive etc. (Could branch out into film, music, event management industry as well, undertaking similar responsibilities.)

Neha Bhagat (Synergy Adlabs)
Neha Bhagat, a Broadcast Journalism student was selected under a student exchange program with Missouri School of Journalism. She was deputed for a two week programme titled "Comparative Studies in American Public Policy Journalism" (April 9 to April 23, 2005).
On return from the USA, Neha said: "I feel my entire learning at ISOMES was fully validated during the Missouri visit".

Rishi Srivastava (Zee TV)
Rishi started with a mind set of joining the journalism stream but within a month & a series of creativity lessons he decided that his future lay in the television direction course. Highly creative, a technical brain & a good team player- Rishi is still going strong in the competitive world of entertainment television.

Sonika Bakshi (NewsX)
Sonika was a bright, effervescent student who was the first one to get an offer of placement. Her first job as anchor and reporter in a travel show on Zee Business led her to a long and successful career path from B.A.G. Films, Sahara Samay, NDTV india to finally NewsX.

Satendra Upadhyay (News24)
Satendra is one of the success stories of ISOMES. ISOMES has seen him growing and improving day by day. With a consistent perseverance and a clear focus, he attempted to enter hard news reporting.Reporting in a show like 'Sansani' for Star News surely gave him an edge and established him as a successful crime reporter evident from his recent stories on News24.

Pamela Mukherjee (Lok Sabha Channel)
Humble, hardworking, honest & focussed - Pamela with qualities of an ideal producer was one of those students who could easily dabble with news as well as entertainment genres. This helped her to rise slowly & steadily but surely.

Rishabh Sharma (Freelance)
A creativity award winner, Rishabh was one of those who always came up with best story idea. Soft spoken, a dreamer and a very good orator, Rishabh still remains one of the best!

Ashish Katara (MY FM)
Ashish was a big surprise for all the faculty and the students of ISOMES. With a very shy demeanour he managed to steal everybody's hearts at the institute as well as B.A.G. Films Mumbai where he got his first job.

Rajat Chadda (News24)
Rajat was one of those students who smiled away to success right through the course and his first placement at News24. A very happy go lucky person, he leaves a good feeling amongst whoever associates with him.

Dhirendra (News24)
Dhirendra had an added experience of having gone through civil services exams which gave him an edge in general awareness, group discussions and research work. He worked hard in developing his personality to suit the contemporary television setup.

Sanjay Ojha (News24)
After a few attempts at civil services, Sanjay thought journalism could give him a direction to excel in life. Good in programming he had a stint at assisting in making documentaries during his internship at Miditech before he got a job in News24.

Wardha Jamali (BAG Production House)
Wardha started her association by applying for editing course and very soon turned herself into a student of six months TV production student and ended as a dedicated, passionate and focussed candidate of the PGTV course with absolutely no regrets. Although frail she has a very steely personality when it comes to on location shoots.

Ashish Gupta (Star News)
Ashish was a debator and a good one at that. With a background of mass communication he had a focus to hone his technical and editorial skills which he polished at ISOMES. Excelling academically he is one of those selected for placement for a couple of news channels making ISOMES proud.

Himanshu Karn (E24 channel)
A creative and imaginative person with some great story ideas bubbling in his mind Himanshu was always the first in line for anything new happening at ISOMES. With a focus to do well in all his projects he was never the one to shirk from his responsibilities.

Aishwarya Shukla (E24 channel)
Aishwarya had joined ISOMES with the six months Tv production in her mind but within a few weeks the creativity bug bit her and she decided to stay put in the PG course and emerged as a very balanced, creative person.

Amit Kumar (Star News)
Strong in his general awareness and having good grip over hindi language Amit nicknamed as "Ramdev" by his batchmates was one of those students who always had something to say on any topic being discussed in class. It was another matter that most of the time his views and opinions were well researched and strong.

Batch Profile
The 2004 – 2008 batch has a healthy mix of students from various backgrounds and with varied work experience. The shared perspective increases learning in all spheres and the group dynamics helps in developing interpersonal skills. Thus the students get exposure to different situations and learn not only how to meet new challenges but also truly become global managers. The batch consists of 115 students pursuing a PGPM degree and 32 students pursuing a PGPHR degree.

To meet the challenges of professional life, one has to be familiar with many skills to grab the attention of an interviewer, out of which Interview skills are the basic necessities to meet up the future challenges with success.

Before the Interview
Learn about the company, organization and do some research in advance.

During the Interview
Do carry your portfolio file.
Dress effectively.
Do not eat anything containing garlic or onion in your breakfast.
